I started BuyTextures.com because I was truly frustrated with the way most texture websites work. Every time I needed a new texture, I had to jump through endless sign-up hoops, subscribe to newsletters I never read, and then deal with "hidden fees" (returning subscriptions from subscription services that did not offer a one-time purchase) that only appeared on my bank statement. I knew there had to be a better way.
